About the Author

Born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, I grew up in a split family with a younger brother, and an even younger half brother, and spent most of my spare time reading, writing, and drawing. I have always drawn  pictures, so I don't know how I ever started.

I started writing by role-playing on neopets.com. They had a forums board, and I was trying to make some friends and stumbled upon role-playing. I was probably in 6th-7th grade. I was in middle school at that time, and soon after Role-playing, I got into Anime. (My first Anime show was Wolf's Rain.) I also made a proboards website for Role-playing a high school that held within its walls four secret clans; Dragons, Wolves, Vampires, and Elves. (All have human forms and powers.) To this day people still role-play on it but I have not. I gave the site away and created a new werewolf rp site called, 'Werewolves of Bayville'.

Freshman year brought on heavy anime. I role-played about elves, magical kids in school, and began making websites. I started to show an interest in animation when I got older.

Tenth grade in high school was all about Eragon and dragons for me. It was the year Eragon was coming out in the movies. So I started writing dragon books. One called, "My Memory Erased", and another titled, "A Life for a Necklace." The thought of publishing never crossed my mind at the time. I also joined my school Literary Magazine.

Junior year I became the treasurer (one of two) for the Literary Magazine, and fell in love with my best friend deeply, and we've been together ever since and are currently engaged.

My relationship with him brought on a spark for Werewolves. (Silly, right?)

When I was a little girl, the Disney movie that I would watch over and over again was Beauty and the Beast. I always thought Beast was a werewolf, (despite his horns), and that image always had the word 'Hero' labeled across it.

And thus began the inspiration to write a novel about a werewolf girl who fell in love with a human boy, but it was forbidden. (Novel: Silent Howl)

By Senior year I had ten idea's for novels, failed at NaNoWriMo.com 's 2008 challenge, became the president of my Literary Magazine club at school, and had only 5 novels started.

I am now a college student at Luzerne County Community College in Pennsylvania and host a book/writing club for NEPA writers called, what else? The Writers of NEPA (Northeastern Pennsylvania.)

I also won the 2009 NaNoWriMo. I rewrote Silent Howl completely and it will soon be published.
