My NaNoWriMo novel.

When Myah is sent to a camp all about saving endangered animals, (run by a wildlife research program), she is finally happy to get away from her old life and spend her summer days laying in the sun, drawing, writing, and swimming with her boyfriend Travis, (who is attending a sports camp on the other side of the lake).
A lot of howling is going on outside the camp's boundaries, and Myah is curious to find out if there really are wolves at Camp Kanab.
But when the two camps are forced together after a disastrous forest fire, young boys from the sports camp are suddenly disappearing, and found dead the next morning.
And where are her three best friends disappearing off to in the middle of the night? Myah might just be getting deeper into something she could never escape from.
Excerpt: Lyra's snarls rippled with wicked delight. Her black maw twisted with a hint of savage desire. Her bright blue eyes flashed with lust as her tongue lolled out of her mouth, framed with razor sharp fangs and dripping with saliva. Her gray pelt bristled with the thought of the chase, of hunting him down and tearing into his flesh. I wouldn't let her. He was mine! I loved him, and she couldn't have him. I marked him with my pentagon, not hers!
My jaws snapped at the air near her face, my fangs brushing the side of her muzzle. Blood oozed and gushed at the wound as she whipped her head back in a sharp yelp. My snarls erupted from my chest, shaking every part of me.
"Mine!" I barked at her, feeling every dark brown hair of my coat rise in anger. We both held our tails high, ready for the other to make the first move, and the fight would begin.
Travis's human heart fluttered like a caged bird behind me, and I knew he had a look of shear terror masking his beautiful face. His golden hair smeared with the sweat on his forehead, and his green eyes wide with fear. My own heart tore in half at his fear. His fear and hatred for me in my wolf form. Why did I show him my secret? Why did of all times did Lyra appear now?
A sudden series of huffs and barks came from Lyra, and she threw back her head as the noise grew, her tail wagging. It was a laugh. My growls lightened, and my tail lowered. I didn't understand, until Kellie's black form appeared behind Lyra. That's why she was laughing. She had back-up. Two against one, and I was going to lose. Lyra was too strong for me to fight, but I was faster than her. I had grown confident in the fact that she couldn't lay a fang on me. But even if I could dodge Lyra, Kellie was just as fast, and would snap her jaws to hold me down as Lyra went for the kill.
The Kill.
We were going to die. I knew it. This was my punishment for revealing the secret. They'd kill me, and then they'd kill the witness. My heart dropped and I felt the weight of our lives fall on my shoulders. It was my fault...I didn't care if I died. But not him, not Travis.
I turned my muzzle to him, my eyes still on Lyra and the circling Kellie.
"I'm sorry." I whispered as best I could through wolven lips. "I'm so sorry."
