     Synopsis: After the world is almost completely destroyed from an alien
attack in the year 2000, the Earth is split up in a civil war between West
Side and East Side.  A second alien race called the White Face fight for
Earth and become our planet's greatest ally.
    Now in the year 2009, Madison (Mad Maddie) Grey is a survivor living as
a prodigy assassin, working for the West Side government group known as the
Innocence Project. She and her partner Tadoc, a White Face, spend their time
and missions together against East Side and protecting the president's son,
Jacob.
    However, one night Maddie's comrades agree they need a break; they're
only seventeen years old; they deserve to live a little! She is dragged away
from her post for a rave party down town. That's where Maddie meets Tyson
and they learn they are from the same town by playing 20 questions. Both are
amazed to find each other, because their town was one of the first to be
destroyed.
    Suddenly, the girls get a distress signal and rush back to their
headquarters. They learn that Tadoc's been kidnapped. Maddie begs the West
Side council for help to find her White Face partner. She is denied, so she
leaves the government and searches for Tadoc.
    She'll stop at nothing, even if it means she has to go to the 'other
side' (East Side), where the war is, to find him. She is joined by Truitt, a
very strange man whose White Face, Synook, is Tadoc's brother. Also helping
Maddie is Cripticon, Tadoc's youngest brother, joined with his human partner
Kim Keller. Along the way, the president's son Jacob decides to stow away
and tag along for the ride. As a result, Maddie, Truitt, and Kim become
fugitives on the run! Maddie is convicted of kidnapping the president's son
because the council wouldn't help her find Tadoc.
    Suddenly, the gang is thrown into the criminal world for kidnapping and
conspiracy against the Innocence Project. With only Tyson to help them from
West Side, and East Side constantly attacking, they have no other choice but
to search for Tadoc's clues and figure out a mystery that is bigger than
them all.
